Iconic Graffiti Easter Eggs in CSGO Maps

CSGO) is not just a game; it’s a canvas of history, etched with the legendary moments of its players. One of the most unique ways the game commemorates these moments is through graffiti Easter eggs scattered across various maps. These graffiti artworks are tributes to the incredible feats achieved by players during high-stakes matches.
Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev, now hailed as the world’s best CSGO player, etched his name into the annals of esports history during the 2016 ESL One Cologne. At the time, s1mple was playing for Team Liquid against Fnatic. In a nail-biting 1v2 clutch situation, s1mple, armed only with an AWP, performed a feat that seemed impossible.
From the second floor, he jumped down and, while still in mid-air, landed a no-scope headshot on one opponent. Moments after landing, he spotted the second opponent at a distance and delivered another no-scope shot, securing the round. This incredible display of skill and precision elevated s1mple to legendary status.
To honor this moment, a graffiti depicting an angel with a sniper rifle was added to the map. This iconic image is a testament to s1mple’s extraordinary skill and has even been immortalized on his arm as a tattoo.
Marcelo “coldzera” David, another legendary player, created his own piece of history during the 2016 MLG Columbus Major. Playing for Luminosity Gaming against Team Liquid, coldzera found himself defending the B site on Mirage. As Liquid’s five-man push came through B Apartments, coldzera, positioned near the van, pulled off an unbelievable feat.
Using his AWP, coldzera executed a series of jumping shots, taking down four opponents in rapid succession. Among the victims was none other than s1mple. This incredible play not only secured the round but also led Valve to adjust the jumping accuracy of sniper rifles.
To commemorate this moment, a graffiti featuring a flying AWPer was added to the map, symbolizing coldzera’s astonishing jumping shots.
In the 2014 ESL One Cologne, Fnatic’s Olof “olofmeister” Kajbjer Gustafsson delivered a moment that would be remembered forever. Facing Team Dignitas, the match had reached a critical 14-15 scoreline. Dignitas planted the bomb and, in a last-ditch effort, threw a Molotov onto the bomb site.
With flames engulfing the bomb, olofmeister bravely stepped into the fire and began defusing. Despite taking damage, he successfully defused the bomb, securing the round and pushing the match to overtime.
This heroic act is commemorated with a graffiti of a defuser standing amidst flames, symbolizing olofmeister’s fearless defuse under fire.
Olofmeister makes another appearance on our list with his infamous boost during the 2014 DreamHack Winter. In a match against LDLC, Fnatic found themselves trailing 3-13. In a desperate move, Fnatic employed a three-man boost on Overpass, allowing olofmeister to gain an unprecedented vantage point.
From this elevated position, olofmeister used a scoped rifle to pick off LDLC players as they exited their spawn. This innovative tactic helped Fnatic mount a comeback from 3-13 to 16-13, securing an improbable victory.
This controversial yet brilliant play is immortalized with a graffiti of a player standing on a stack of teammates, symbolizing the game-changing boost.
