Boss Battle: Huiyue Demon Lord
Attributes and Attacks:
- The Huiyue Demon Lord emerges from a giant egg and immediately launches a barrage of feathers as a ranged attack. you should roll to dodge these feathers.
- The boss will then follow up with a flying kick, which can be dodged by side-stepping. However, don’t dodge too far away, as the boss will enter a brief period of vulnerability after the kick, allowing you to counterattack.
- After recovering from the stagger, the boss will use its claws for continuous attacks. You should rhythmically jump backward to avoid these strikes.
- When the boss’s health is halved, it will stand still and vomit blood, making it an excellent opportunity for you to launch attacks.
- After vomiting blood, the boss’s attacks become more frequent and intense. You need to be particularly cautious when the boss’s health is low, as it will leap up and attack. During this phase, focus on dodging rather than attacking. Once this aggressive phase is over, use continuous staff strikes to finish it off.

Unlocking Hidden Maps
Black Daoist:
- You need to fight the Black Daoist twice. His primary attacks involve dual-blade strikes followed by a jump and slam. His attack animations have long wind-ups, making them easy to predict and dodge.
- Maintain distance and use charged staff attacks to deal significant damage. Focus on attacking the tendrils on his back for maximum damage. The Black Daoist has low health and is susceptible to immobilizing spells, making the fight relatively easy.
Additional Bosses
- Although not very difficult, Mushroom Girl has an annoying healing ability. She has low tenacity, making her easy to interrupt with charged attacks. Watch out for her healing silk attack, which can be blocked with staff spins. When she uses her whirlwind attack, simply create distance to avoid it.
- The Poison King is the first tough boss in the hidden map Purple Cloud Mountain. Before the fight, use items like Juzen Fuhuwan, Sanshiwan, and Beiliwan to boost your stats. Charge into the battle and use triple staff strikes to knock him down. Avoid his claw combos and use a Rock Golem to counter his poison attacks. The Rock Golem has high health and can withstand his attacks for a long time.
- Mi Daoist is the leader in Purple Cloud Mountain, located outside the old house in Luohua Village. He moves quickly and will attack you head-on. Use “Bronze Head Iron Arm” to parry his attacks or roll to dodge and then counterattack. When he uses poison attacks, dodge at the right moment to avoid damage.
