There are four main factions with seats in Parliament: Frostlanders, New Londoners, Oathkeepers, and Progressives. Each faction has its own opinions and styles:

Comprising individuals with technological acumen, rational thinking, and precision, they believe everything should be verifiable and strive for technological dominance. They push for rapid technological advancements and prioritize scientific progress over traditional beliefs.
This disciplined and egalitarian faction always stands at the forefront of the fight against the eternal winter. They value unity and tradition, selecting the city’s toughest warriors, thus forming the backbone of the city’s defense.
With a spirit of adaptation running through their veins, Icebloods attract survivalists determined to prove their strength. They are known for their resilience and willingness to endure harsh conditions, making them invaluable in extreme survival scenarios.
Rationalists committed to promoting evolution based on merit, they attract like-minded individuals even at the cost of life and limb. They believe in continuous improvement and adaptation, often pushing the boundaries of human capabilities.
They turn adaptation into an art form, radically transforming the world and breaking all conventions to eliminate inequality. Mavericks are innovators and revolutionaries who challenge the status quo and seek to create a more equitable society.
Aiming to build a society controlled by a few elites, they use old empire traditions as a foundation, enhancing control through technology. They believe in a hierarchical society where the most capable individuals lead and make decisions for the greater good.
These individualists and opportunists seek extreme detail, recruiting social and technical elites drawn by lucrative benefits. Driven by personal gain, they often exploit opportunities for profit, sometimes at the expense of the community.
Followers of the leader’s religious movement, they pursue technological progress and aim to recreate the leader’s glory days. Oathkeepers blend traditional values with a commitment to technological advancement, seeking to honor the leader’s legacy.
Stoic explorers who see the frostland as their new home, they are tightly knit like family and follow ancient traditions. Bridgers value community and resilience, often taking on the role of mediators and peacekeepers within the city.
While not every faction holds beliefs in every category, most have at least one core value. Players can track which actions align with these values by hovering over belief icons in the lower-left corner of the screen. To quickly boost faction support, you can fund their projects, make promises, or grant them the right to propose the next law.
