Chapter 5, Season 4 is all about Marvel heroes, villains, and iconic locations from the comics. Harnessing the ancient power of Pandora’s Box, the armored tyrant Doctor Doom has transported his Latverian domain to the Battle Royale island. Along with his loyal mercenary minions, he has established strongholds on the island. Once his fortified armor is complete, he aims to take control of everything. Players must defeat Doctor Doom and his minions at all costs.
The latest Fortnite Battle Pass does not disappoint. Several heroes and villains make their debut in Fortnite, including Emma Frost, Shuri, and War Machine. Additionally, there are new Epic-Marvel mashups, such as the instantly iconic Peelverine.
This season’s map changes are significant, primarily adding three new major areas: Castle Doom, Doomstadt, and The Raft. The northern part of the map has seen the most changes, with the addition of Doom Courtyard. This area is filled with red trees and Easter eggs like the Fantastic Four logo. The rest of the map remains largely the same as the previous season. The Wastelander boss has disappeared, replaced by Doom Bots, Emma Frost, and Mysterio. Defeating them will drop a Mythic weapon and a badge with unique effects.
All unvaulted weapons include:
1.Captain America’s Shield: New shield charge ability. It can now block while sliding and jumping.
2.Doctor Doom’s Arcane Gauntlets: Enhanced with Iron Man’s repulsor gauntlets’ attack capabilities. Increased repulsor attack speed and damage.
3.Striker Burst Rifle: Now moddable. Increased fire rate and damage, reduced reload time.
4.Additional Weapons: Striker Assault Rifle, Combat Assault Rifle, Ranger Pistol, Heavy Pump Shotgun, Gatekeeper Shotgun, Dimensional SMG, and Shockwave Grenade.
