Artifacts in Risk of Rain 2 are special items that alter the game mechanics in various ways. To unlock an Artifact, you need to enter a specific combination of symbols, activate it, and then complete a hidden challenge in the Artifact Reliquary.
Risk of Rain 2 offers three modes: Single-player, Multiplayer, and Challenge Mode. Challenge Mode includes two environments: Eclipse and Prismatic Trials. Effect: Fall damage is doubled and lethal.
6.Artifact of Metamorphosis
Effect: Players always spawn as a random survivor.

Effect: Only elite monsters spawn.
7.Artifact of Enigma
Effect: Start with a random equipment item that changes every use.
8.Artifact of Spite
Effect: Monsters drop explosive bombs upon death.
9.Artifact of Soul
Effect: Monsters spawn wisps upon death.
10.Artifact of Vengeance
Effect: Every 10 minutes, your doppelganger will spawn.
11.Artifact of Evolution
Effect: Monsters gain items over time.
12.Artifact of Kin
Effect: Only one type of monster spawns per stage.
13.Artifact of Sacrifice
Effect: Monsters drop items on death, but chests no longer spawn.
14.Artifact of Swarms
Effect: Double the number of monsters, but they have half health.
15.Artifact of Dissonance
Effect: Monsters can appear outside of their usual environments.
Roam the Map: Before activating the first key, explore the map to collect money, buy chests, and heal during battles.
