The Silver Snipers are not your typical esports team. Made up of older individuals, they have shattered stereotypes and demonstrated that age is merely a number. This remarkable group has proven that gaming is for everyone, regardless of age.

The Genesis of the Team

Formed by Lenovo in 2017, their mission was to challenge the notion that gaming is only for the young. The members, all over 60, have embraced Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) with enthusiasm and dedication.

• Inger “Trigger Finger” Grotteblad: The team’s sniper.

  Each brings unique skills and a wealth of life experience.

Training and Preparation

Guided by former professional player Tommy “Potti” Ingemarsson, the team trains rigorously, focusing on strategy, teamwork, and reflex improvement. Despite their age, they are committed to mastering the game.

Breaking Stereotypes

They have participated in multiple competitions, such as DreamHack Winter. Their participation has contested the idea that esports are solely for young people. They have shown that anyone can compete at a high level if they are passionate and dedicated.
