CSGO Awareness Guide: Mastering Spawn Positions
Understanding Spawn Positions
T-Side Key Spawn Positions
Time: Approximately 6.5 seconds (left side slightly faster).
Strategy: If you spawn at the fastest T-side position for A1 back site, you have a high chance of securing a kill. This position allows you to reach A1 faster than most CTs, who are often still holding their knives as they exit long box. Don’t forget to throw a molotov at A1 to secure the kill.
Time: 7.5 seconds.
Strategy: This position allows you to catch the enemy sniper setting up or someone jumping into underpass. If your teammate has an AWP, borrow it to secure an early kill. This strategy can turn the tide of the game.
Time: 12.1 seconds (CTs need 12.6 seconds).
Strategy: Use a bunny hop to reach the kitchen sofa for the best effect. This position allows you to reach B2 faster than the CTs, giving you an advantage.
CT-Side Key Spawn Positions
Time: 6.1 seconds.
Strategy: If you spawn here, you can reach A1 back site faster than the Ts. If you’re an AWPer, you can attempt to take the bench and pre-aim the enemy. However, don’t stay too long, as a well-timed flashbang from the enemy can leave you exposed.
Time: 7.1 seconds (0.4 seconds faster than Ts).
Strategy: This position allows you to reach mid and aim down the sight before the Ts, giving you a significant advantage.
